OnePlus invites 2,000 users to test OxygenOS 15 on Nord CE 4 series in India.
OnePlus has officially kicked off the Closed Beta Testing (CBT) programme for OxygenOS 15, its latest Android-based operating system, on the OnePlus Nord CE 4 and Nord CE 4 Lite 5G smartphones. This exclusive testing phase will be available to only 2,000 active members of the OnePlus Community in India, offering them the opportunity to try out the new software before its public release.
The event will take place from November 4 to 6. Eligible users will experience the next iteration of OxygenOS and give their feedback to improve its performance. Participants will be in direct communication with OnePlus developers and other users through a dedicated Telegram group for reporting bugs, sharing suggestions, and enhancing the overall software experience.
OnePlus has announced that every user of the Nord CE 4 and Nord CE 4 Lite needs to have the latest versions of software updates to be qualified for the Closed Beta program. The candidates will be given the earliest versions of OxygenOS 15, still in beta, meaning they can contain bugs within them. In order to prevent data loss during this testing phase, OnePlus cautions participants to regularly save their files.
The Closed Beta is soon to be followed by an Open Beta for much more users in the coming months. And finally, after receiving the good feedback and squashing the bugs, OnePlus plans to roll out a stable version of OxygenOS 15 to all compatible devices.
The initiative reflects OnePlus’s commitment to refining its software based on user insights, providing a more polished experience at the time of general availability.
