New partnership aims to leverage marketing and advocacy strengths for regional tourism growth.
Africa's Eden also collaborated with the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA) as part of a strategic alliance aiming to strengthen tourism in Southern Africa. This partnership integrates SATSA's solid lobbying capabilities with the energetic marketing initiatives of Africa's Eden, providing members of both organizations with better support in this regard.
The benefits with this will be more exposure to marketing, like hosting international road shows and workshops in key markets for increased visibility. Also, SATSA's effective advocacy will be able to address the industry challenges and be placed at forefront of government and media forums to properly represent member interests.
It would look forward to designing cross-regional opportunities, fostering market linkages among its members within the Southern Africa region. Both organizations stressed the need to have a united voice of industry for better representation in global dialogues on tourism.
David Frost, the CEO of SATSA, added, "It's a partnership that pools our strengths to assist businesses to grow and thrive." As explained by Jillian Blackbeard, CEO of Africa's Eden, "the aim is for it to be a conducive ecosystem for all members".
In 2025, several events are to be held in North America and Europe, among others, travel expos. Some of the activities set to take place soon include several events that will be organized with the Southern African Tourism Organization in North America, in Europe, and other major expos planned for traveling to join the event.
