Dubai's Grand Chocolate Festival to Showcase Sweet Innovations and Sustainability
Dubai is gearing up for a sweet extravaganza as it prepares to host the Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie, the world’s largest chocolate and pastry festival. Set to take place from September 18 to 20 at the prestigious Madinat Jumeirah, this much-anticipated event promises to be a feast for the senses.
Now in its third year, the Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie will feature an impressive lineup of 360 international and local brands, showcased by 120 exhibitors. The festival is expected to draw around 7,000 visitors eager to indulge in the finest chocolates and pastries the world has to offer.
The festival will feature a range of exciting highlights, including the enchanting Chocolate Fashion Show, where 13 stunning chocolate dresses themed “Wild & Wonderful Glamour” will be showcased. Created by executive pastry chefs and talented students from Esmod Dubai, these dresses are set to be a magnificent spectacle.
Another key attraction will be ‘The Talks,’ a series of sessions where industry leaders, pastry specialists, and coffee experts will discuss the latest trends and innovations in the pastry, chocolate, and coffee industries. UNEP will also present a talk on food waste and sustainability, emphasizing the event’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Additionally, the ‘Coffee in Good Spirits Championship,’ organized in collaboration with the Specialty Coffee Association-UAE, will highlight the skills of baristas and barkeepers in crafting innovative coffee and spirit blends.
This year’s Salon du Chocolat et de la Pâtisserie promises to be a landmark event, celebrating the art of chocolate and pastry in grand style and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for culinary excellence.
