Insurance Product Offered by Security First Insurance for Homeowners
Premier Homeowners Insurance
Security First Insurance offers exclusive coverage through its Premier Homeowners (HO5) policy, designed for Florida homeowners with properties valued between $500,000 and $2.5 million. This comprehensive plan provides unparalleled protection and peace of mind, covering everything from the structure of your home to personal liability and medical payments. The HO5 policy provides added coverage features like increased special limits for personal items like watches and jewelry at no extra cost. It also has equipment breakdown, service lines, and lock replacement coverage, so all of your home's critical systems are covered.
In addition, Coverage A provides for full replacement cost for your dwelling, and Coverage C insures personal property with replacement cost coverage. If your dwelling becomes uninhabitable, Coverage D covers additional living expenses. With a commitment to customized choices and great customer service, Security First's Premier Homeowners Insurance provides Florida homeowners with one of the finest means of protecting their valuable assets.
Dwelling Basic
Security First Insurance provides its Dwelling Fire Basic (DF1) policy as the perfect fit for Florida homeowners who want flexibility in their coverage. Ideal for homes that have special features, like vacant homes, foreclosure purchases, or those with previous losses, the DF1 policy is basic yet flexible. Homeowners can customize their policy by choosing only what coverage they require, making it an affordable option.
The policy covers the dwelling structure of your home (Coverage A) on an actual cash value (ACV) basis, which takes depreciation into account. There are other coverage options for other buildings, such as detached garages or sheds (Coverage B), your personal property (Coverage C), and loss of use (Coverage D) in the event your home is rendered uninhabitable. Liability and medical payments are also covered, providing extensive protection from surprise claims. Its flexible strategy, Security First's Dwelling Fire Basic Insurance, enables homeowners to protect their property without overpaying for excess coverage.
Condo Insurance
Condominium living has numerous benefits, but don't forget your condo association's insurance will usually only cover the outside of the building. For ultimate protection, Security First Insurance provides its Condo Insurance policy (HO6), which is specifically designed to protect your individual property and interior amenities.
This policy covers a range of essentials, starting with the structure of your home (Coverage A) — including flooring, cabinetry, and other permanent fixtures — for losses caused by events like fire, theft, or lightning. Coverage for personal property (Coverage C) is provided at replacement cost, ensuring you’re reimbursed the full value of lost items like furniture and electronics.
Other available coverage options are Loss of Use (Coverage D) in case your condo is rendered uninhabitable, Liability Coverage (Coverage E) for personal injury cases, and Medical Payments (Coverage F) for your guests who get injured on your premises. Add-ons such as Dog Liability and Water Backup & Sump Overflow can also be added for extra peace of mind. With limited coverage and optional selectability, Security First's Condo Insurance has it covered so that Florida condo owners can be secure inside and out.
