Personalization is now essential in the ever changing financial landscape of today. More than ever, investors are looking for financial solutions that can be tailored to their particular objectives, risk tolerances, and market outlooks. That’s exactly what IVM Markets is doing—it’s transforming the structured product design and delivery landscape. IVM Markets, which was founded by Volodymyr Gubskyi, the Co-Founder and Ildar Farkhsahtov, the cofounder and CTO with extensive industry knowledge, that aims to empower asset managers and wealth managers by providing access to individualized, optimal investment ideas through advanced technology.
Recognizing a significant gap in the market—where structured products are typically mass-produced with limited personalization—the new company’s founders set out to change the industry’s narrative. Their end view was to strengthen the distributor channel: from an advisor perspective, the wealth management side, and the private banks - to create personalized investment solutions exactly corresponding to the needs of their clients.
We at Business Honor had the privilege to interview the Chief Executives, who have been the driving force for continuous growth in IVM Markets, on how the innovative solutions offered by the company can transform the market for structured products.
In Conversation with Volodymyr Gubskyi (the Co-Founder): How IVM Markets are Transforming Investment Solutions
Q. Can you describe the main features of the IVM Structured Product Suite and how it differentiates from other platforms in the market? How does IVM Markets use AI to generate and optimize structured product ideas?
IVM Markets offers AI-powered thematic stock and index curation, enabling structured product practitioners to optimize baskets of stocks alongside features such as protection, maturity, and auto call levels for their clients. This empowers buyers to discover product iterations with higher upside potential and lower downside risk, all within their desired thematic play. IVM’s platform systematically enables distributors to provide the best product iterations to their advisor clients, reinforcing its role as a cutting-edge AI-driven solution for optimizing high-performing structured products.
Unlike other platforms, IVM integrates seamlessly with multi-issuer platforms, ensuring the best price execution. Its AI engine also allows distributors to consistently uncover structured product variations that can potentially outperform, both in terms of risk and return. This enables advisors to work with these distributors, boosting their market share and traded volumes.
Q. What are the key benefits of using IVM Markets’ solutions for wealth managers and asset managers?
IVM Markets offers wealth and asset managers a powerful tool that allows them to systematically explore thousands of structured product variations for every transaction, ensuring that they have the tools to find products with the optimal balance between higher upside potential and lower downside risk within a specific thematic play. The platform’s AI engine processes these variations in real-time, helping managers optimize every deal, eliminating guesswork, and enabling them to present data-backed ideas confidently.
A major benefit for wealth and asset managers is that IVM helps them consistently uncover structured product iterations that can potentially not only provide better performance but also increase client engagement. By delivering products with improved risk-return profiles, advisors are more likely to increase their allocation to structured products. As more advisors learn about the value of this technology to consistently uncovering better opportunities, they turn to distributors who are able to leverage IVM, driving growth in both market share and overall assets under management.
Q. How does IVM Markets ensure that its platform remains user-friendly while dealing with complex financial products?
IVM Markets is motivated to ensure its platform remains user-friendly despite dealing with complex financial products by client feedback, continuous improvement, and a focus on simplifying the user experience without compromising on the depth of analysis. The platform features an intuitive interface that allows wealth managers and asset managers to generate optimized investment ideas through a few simple clicks. While the underlying financial modeling is sophisticated, the platform presents results in a clear and actionable format, enabling users to easily compare multiple structured product variations across different maturities, stock combinations, and protection levels.
IVM also includes a human language module, which translates complex financial terms and product features into concise, understandable summaries. This makes it easier for users to communicate investment ideas and strategies with clients or colleagues. Furthermore, the platform’s AI engine handles the heavy lifting, streamlining processes like pricing, risk evaluation, and idea generation, so that users can focus on decision-making rather than navigating technical complexities. This balance keeps IVM both powerful and accessible.
Q. What role do data and analytics play in the pricing and optimization of structured products on your platform?
Data and analytics are pivotal in the pricing and optimization of structured products on IVM Markets’ platform. The system leverages market data and machine learning to ensure that pricing reflects bank appetites for specific baskets and maturities. This dynamic approach provides users with highly accurate pricing before they even request quotes from issuers.
Additionally, IVM’s AI engine analyzes thousands of product variations, optimizing combinations of stocks, maturities, and protection levels. It evaluates historical performance, analyst consensus, and risk metrics, helping users systematically uncover the best ideas with the potential for both higher upside and lower downside.
IVM Markets’ Vision for the Future
Soon, the distributor will be focusing on data analytics and tools that enable the creation of customized investment solutions. In other words, it is comparable to building with LEGO bricks. The same analytics can be applied, but each distributor will put their own creativity into designing differentiated products catering to individual client needs. This will result inan innovative way in which services are enhanced and translate well to growth and higher volume in structured products. The structured products industry is estimated at $7 trillion in a $110 trillion equity market. IVM estimate this could grow to $40 trillion on the back of the various digitalization tailwinds in the market. IVM’s AI-optimization engine will contribute to this growth, unlocking wealth and assist asset managers in delivering customized, high performance solutions aligned to the goals of their clients objectives in the evolving landscape for structured products.
