DMP Strengthens Video Solutions Leadership with Three Senior Executive Appointments

The security technology provider expands its leadership team to accelerate AI-powered video monitoring, unified surveillance, and enterprise security innovation.

  • DMP appointed three executives to expand its video solutions leadership

  • New team will drive AI-powered video monitoring and surveillance innovation

  • Monitoring Partner Program will strengthen commercial monitoring services

  • Leadership supports DMP’s unified security platform strategy

  • Recent product launches include AlarmVision enhancements and advanced IP cameras

DMP has bolstered its video solutions team with the hiring of Nicola Oakie, Pete Jankowski, and Stephen Carney as it continues with its goal of furthering the development of AI-based security systems. The move comes as demand grows for AI-powered video surveillance solutions that combine intelligent analytics, monitoring, and access control into a single ecosystem.

The three executives will work under the supervision of Ken Francis, the Executive Vice President of Video Solutions, who was hired by DMP this year to oversee the video solutions strategy of the company. The company stated that the new team of executives will assist in developing its security systems while meeting the growing demands for enterprise video security solutions from its customers.

Nicola Oakie has been named Senior Director of Commercial Monitoring Solutions and will head up DMP’s first Monitoring Partner Program that is intended to enhance the company’s collaborations with retail, guarding, and wholesale monitoring firms. Oakie has worked in executive positions with Netwatch North America, National Monitoring Center, and I-View Now.

Pete Jankowski has joined the company as Vice President of Video Engineering. As an entrepreneur and the founder of Next Level Security Systems, he has many years of experience in the area of video surveillance and security technology integration. In addition, Jankowski has held senior technology positions with Loronix, Verint, and Cisco Video. According to Jankowski, he is excited to foster innovations through AI-driven analytics, edge computing, platform architecture, and streaming technology.

Stephen Carney will head up product marketing activities for DMP’s suite of security solutions with an emphasis on growing its video solution. He has held senior management roles with Shooter Detection Systems, HID Global, Tyco Security Products, and Johnson Controls. The new appointments come at a time when DMP has expanded its AlarmVision solution and released a new line of commercial products, including 12 HD low-light IP cameras with active deterrent technology.

The company explained that its business model involves bringing together intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and smart analysis under one umbrella as its core security solution. Business Honor believes leadership investments in AI-driven video security will accelerate innovation as businesses increasingly adopt intelligent, integrated surveillance and monitoring platforms.
