Stellantis and Leapmotor have decided to continue their EV partnership through cooperation on manufacturing in Europe. The new collaboration is expected to improve the manufacturing capacity for electric vehicles in Spain while also increasing cooperation in vehicle production and component sourcing.
Expanding the Stellantis and Leapmotor Electric Vehicles Collaboration in Europe
The expanded EV partnership will include manufacturing the Leapmotor B10 electric SUV at Stellantis' Zaragoza factory in Figueruelas, Spain, starting in the second part of 2026. In addition, the plant will manufacture the new, innovative Opel C-SUV electric car using Leapmotor's B10 platform technology.

Production Plans for Leapmotor B10 and Opel Electric SUV
As part of the EV venture expansion, the Zaragoza facility will serve as a key manufacturing hub for future generations of electric vehicles in Europe. The two companies are also considering increasing the number of Leapmotor EV models at Stellantis' factory in Villaverde, which is located near Madrid, from 2028 onward.
