Krisp Unveils Voice Translation SDK for Real-Time Customer Conversations

New technology enhances multilingual support, breaking language barriers in global customer experience interactions.

Krisp, a company focused on the development of voice artificial intelligence technology that allows for a seamless integration of voice-to-voice translations into live customer interactions via a developer-friendly software development kit (SDK), has successfully released their voice translation SDK. Through its Call Center AI Platform, Krisp has been providing real-time voice translation technology in production use within customer companies since 2025. The release of their SDK will enable developers of customer experience (CX) systems to add voice-to-voice translation capabilities within their own applications, allowing for more fluid communication between individuals speaking different languages.

One of the main challenges associated with providing real-time translations of voices in real-time, is that they must be delivered as quickly as possible during live conversations. This includes addressing issues such as differences in pronunciation, surrounding noise, and natural pauses in the speech of the person speaking. Krisp is committed to delivering a high-quality output (translation) with respect to both speed and accuracy; if the time it takes to get a translation is too short, there’s a risk that the translation may not have a complete enough context within the conversation, and if the time it takes to get the translation is too long, it could interrupt the flow of conversation.

According to Davit Baghdasaryan, Co-Founder and CEO of Krisp, breaking the language barrier in global customer service is vital to eliminating the friction caused when customers cannot communicate fully or accurately with support agents. "Every language barrier directly affects the speed and quality of customer satisfaction," he said. The intent of making this SDK available is to help eliminate the friction caused by languages and to help support teams around the globe provide quality service to their customers, regardless of what language they speak.
