Atomos has launched its latest web-based editor as part of the ATOMOSphere program to provide users with a simple online editing solution that can be accessed with ease. This new web-based editor will allow users to create sequence edits within their browser while avoiding the hassle of downloading files or occupying space on their local hard drives. Its user-friendly cloud video editing system allows users to arrange their own sequence timelines and quickly review the footage. With the built-in browser-based non-linear editing (NLE) capabilities, users may edit clips by trimming, adjusting, and getting ready for final delivery, social media publishing, or client review from anywhere.
Through direct uploads through a cloud connected Atomos Ninja or Shogun monitor recorder when capturing video, users will have instant and secured access to their video files in the cloud during production. No need to perform manual file transfers. Remote video collaboration is easy with the system. This allows teams and clients to work together in a common online space. Collaborators can be invited to review videos, comment, approve edits, or make changes to the videos. This makes the feedback and approval faster.
All of the registered users get 20 GB of free storage under the Starter Plan. The first paid plan (500GB) begins at $10/month, and there are higher storage options available. Subscribers will have access to advanced cloud post-production features, as well as to a secure, managed cloud media and a variety of scalable video storage options to accommodate increasing production requirements.
