Vertex appoints Grant Cooper as CRO to increase revenue, strengthen client relationships, and speed up growth across data centers and communications infrastructure.
Vertex Innovations, a nationally recognized provider of telecommunications and data center infrastructure services, has appointed industry veteran Grant Cooper as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Cooper's new duties include managing revenue operations, client plans, and market expansion. He will work with the sales, marketing, and operations teams, focusing on developing client relationships, growing across North America, and finding new opportunities in data centers and communications infrastructure.
Cooper has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, and technology services, with an established record of achieving revenue development and developing high-performing teams. Cooper joined Vertex from Ontivity, where he was Vice President of Business Development. He previously held several senior positions at B+T Group, like National Sales Director. During his career, he has led important technical initiatives, created key industry connections, and expanded business lines in wireless networks, small-cell systems, and large-scale data-center projects. This experience specifically prepares him to help Vertex's next stage of growth and national expansion.
Cooper stands ahead, according to Vertex Founder and CEO Wayne Smith, for his capacity to bring the goals of a business to market. "All companies need a person that takes their mission and brings it to the market—Grant Cooper is that one," Smith said to the audience. "He represents Vertex's fundamental principles of integrity, respect, transparency, performance, and speed. His leadership will be important as we adopt our marketing strategy.” With Cooper's guidance, Vertex Innovations intends to speed up its growth and set the future of communications infrastructure—creating networks that are ready for the next phase of innovation.
