SAP and SRH University Join Forces on Digital Training

SRH University collaborates with German software company SAP to launch training program for students and professionals.

The collaborative program will provide future 'certified experts and managers' the opportunity to develop practical experience and skills in the use of SAP applications. As part of this initiative, we will also expand the program into other areas of study such as Business Administration and Supply Chain Management. Participants in the program will learn skills related to the SAP Business Technology Platform, enterprise resource planning and data analytics. This partnership will also provide an opportunity for SRH to incorporate SAP skills and experience into more than 120-degree programs on all SRH campuses throughout Germany. In addition, both organizations will work together to develop new Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programs that are closely aligned to the needs of the SAP Ecosystem and available to German and International Students.

Andre Bechtold, president of Industries and Experiences at SAP, explained how SAP has created productive partnership with SRH University to develop innovative educational programs for young professionals in a global SAP ecosystem. The partnership builds on a foundation that will ultimately include SAP Experience Centres in Berlin, Munich and Walldorf and SAP's Learning Centre in Walldorf. "SRH University wants to increase its international footprint by opening a new location in Bangalore," explained Bechtold. Additionally, SAP and SRH University are considering a collaborative project in Bangalore.

"The partnership with SAP provides a strong platform for focusing on the development of young professionals and providing them with the opportunity to gain the skill sets needed to thrive in a globally integrated work environment," said Christof Hettich, SRH's CEO. "This is a landmark achievement for practical higher education in Germany and around the world," added Thorsten Bagschik, managing director of SRH University. "We provide both academic excellence and industry relevance which ultimately translates into real-world opportunities for future success."
