EX3 strengthens its Asia-Pacific footprint through Malaysia expansion, formal SAP Partnership, and investment in regional sales leadership.
EX3 recently expanded throughout APAC and highlighted the significant role of Malaysia in its continued growth as a regional operations hub. The company now employs 21 people in Malaysia and has added four new team members in the past six months, with two more anticipated hires planned for before the end of May 2026. This growth in headcount illustrates a continued demand for EX3’s comprehensive HR and payroll transformation services within the Asia Pacific region.
Furthermore, it is while this is occurring that EX3 also has been formally inducted as an SAP Partner in Malaysia, specifically for Human Capital Management and Payroll solutions. The partnership with SAP is a significant milestone in providing EX3 with a solidified and enhanced foundation for integrated, cloud-based HR transformation programs across the APAC region. By combining the enterprise cloud capabilities that SAP provides with EX3’s AI-driven delivery model, clients will benefit from accelerated implementation timelines and an increased market presence through EX3.
According to EX3's Chief Revenue Officer Sam Garwood, the SAP partnership serves as a critical enabler for the company's go-to-market strategy. "With Malaysia at the centre of our regional operations, we are building a scalable, high-impact GTM engine that allows us to bring EX3's full capabilities to market with greater speed and precision," Garwood stated, emphasizing the competitive advantage of combining technological innovation with regional expertise.
Jas Rai, CEO of EX3, said that as part of EX3's global growth strategy, the expansion of operations in Malaysia is critical to that goal. In his words, "Malaysia is a key to enabling that growth for the company both as a delivery centre and strategically as a hub for the region," as well as explaining that the role would ultimately provide more value to their clients outside the APAC region.
Business Honor is of the view that EX3's Malaysia expansion and SAP Partnership represents a pivotal strategic shift in the company's Asia-Pacific operational capabilities and regional market positioning.
