EaseMyTrip appointed Manmeet Ahluwalia as CMO in order to improve innovation, customer engagement, and brand growth using technology and smarter marketing strategies.
EaseMyTrip appointed industry expert Manmeet Ahluwalia as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), according to a recent stock exchange filing. Ahluwalia will manage the company's marketing strategy, with a focus on innovation, improved client engagement, and growing brand awareness in India and major foreign markets. Ahluwalia has over 20 years of experience developing and transforming brands in the worldwide tourism sector. He has worked for major companies like Expedia, Thomas Cook, Yatra, and the Singapore Tourism Board. Daddy of Travel, What a Pleasant Surprise, and Travel Like a Champion are some of the successful marketing efforts he has directed over the years.
The previous campaign also showed Expedia's worldwide partnership with the UEFA Champions League. His experience includes performance marketing, content planning, and MarTech integration, that has helped businesses grow their presence in APAC, EMEA, and NORAM. Speaking about his appointment, Ahluwalia stated that his goal at EaseMyTrip will be to raise the brand while staying dedicated to the company's goal of focusing on client innovation and smooth travel experiences. "Marketing needs to create meaningful relationships," he said, adding that he aims to improve the company's market position while discovering new ways to connect with travelers in India and beyond.
EaseMyTrip expects Ahluwalia's leadership will guide the company's next stage of growth, supported by technology-based marketing and a stronger focus on providing excellent travel experiences. His appointment is because the travel industry quickly adopts digital technologies, automation, and data-based approaches for connecting with customers. With Ahluwalia in the leadership position, EaseMyTrip aims to transform the future of travel by offering simpler, more connected, and smoother experiences. This suggests a shift toward the next stage of smart travel solutions.
