Lisbon Experience Center aims to support telecom operators in order to improve networks using AI, O-RAN, and fibre solutions.
Cyient established a new Customer Experience Center (CEC) in Lisbon, Portugal, in order to improve its worldwide presence in network engineering and automation. It was inaugurated by Shri Puneet R. Kundal, Honourable Ambassador of India to Portugal, and Sukamal Banerjee, Cyient's Executive Director and CEO. With the aim to support telecom operators advance their networks by combining automation, domain knowledge, and innovative collaboration.
Ambassador Kundal highlighted the growing technological relationship between India and Portugal. He stated that Cyient's investment in Europe offers important abilities in 5G, AI-powered network operations, and fiber expansion to local operators. Supporting the relationship between Indian and European players, with new opportunities while contributing to a better digital infrastructure. It focuses on networking innovations and also offers a rich setting for customers to test and confirm Cyient's connectivity services.
The Pre-Integration Lab shows multivendor O-RAN integration, that allows for energy efficient installations, network slicing, detection of anomalies, and accessible enterprise 5G setups. The NOC shows automated fulfillment and assurance procedures that use generative AI to quicken root cause analysis and predictive maintenance. The Fibre Evolution Showcase focuses on automated fibre network data migration, helping operators go through M&A transitions or seek network monetization. Each solution is designed to scale and interact smoothly with new technologies and business developments.
SVP & Global Business Unit Head for Connectivity at Cyient, Arunav Roy, described the CEC as "a platform for the next generation of network modernization, that allows operators to develop and execute new network architectures more quickly." Together, these centers pave the way for a future where intelligent, independent, and interconnected networks become the basis of the worldwide digital transformation.
