Arivihan secures $4.17M funding to offer affordable, AI-powered, personalized learning for students in rural and Tier II/III areas.
Arivihan, an Indore-based EdTech startup, has raised $4.17 million in a funding round led by Dutch investor Prosus, that also included Silicon Valley investments Accel and GSF Investors. The increased funding would allow Arivihan to expand into three more Indian states, increase AI research and development, improve local language support, and strengthen offline marketing and distribution. The program focuses on students in Tier II, Tier III, and rural areas. It offers a personalized learning method for State Board exams, CBSE, and NEET at an annual price of ₹300.
Arivihan began with Madhya Pradesh's Class 12 State Board students and then increased to include NEET hopefuls. Encouraged by its early success, it began operations in Rajasthan and is now moving to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh. Unlike standard AI solutions, Arivihan is powered by a specially developed open-source AI that has been tuned with millions of particular syllabus data points. This allows the platform to offer relevant responses in Hindi and Hinglish that are matched to each student's course and level of understanding. This year, the business aims to add 80,000-100,000 new users, strengthening its position as the top AI-powered learning platform for regional students.
Dhruv Gupta from Prosus stated, "Education is one of the most likely industries where AI may have a lasting effect. Arivihan is innovating where it matters most: offering quality education to students in poor areas." Arivihan is shaping India's learning future. Using AI instructors, predictive learning tools, and multilingual assistance, the business sees a world in which every student, has a chance at high quality education, forever transforming India's learning landscape.
