SLA 825 Dual improves productivity with its dual lasers, new software, and resins, supporting fast, accurate, and scalable 3D printing.
A new 3D printing tool, the SLA 825 Dual, was introduced by 3D Systems before the Formnext trade event. In order to increase productivity and simplify processes for automotive, Formula 1, aerospace, space, and service agency customers. The machine features an impressive 830 x 830 x 550 mm build power and a dual-laser setup. It is designed for flexibility and lasting value. It also offers updated options for future technologies along with high accuracy, dependability, and excellent surface polish. At Formnext, 3D Systems will present the printer together with related case studies.
3D Systems offers new materials and software in addition to the new printer. With ArrayCast software, users may digitally build unique casting trees with programmed runners, sprues, and end effectors. By removing the need for wax welding and hand gluing, this digital method can save labor costs by up to 20 times and speed up production cycles by up to 10 times. The company's 3D Sprint software can be improved using ArrayCast.
The business is introducing Accura SbF, an SLA solution for QuickCast designs that works with high-performance metals like titanium and superalloys based on nickel. Accura SbF offers dependable burnout with less leftovers, quick printing, and stable dimensions. In contrast, the Accura Xtreme Black resin is a reliable prototype material designed for applications involving form, fit, and function.
It is excellent for snap-fit parts, enclosures, and consumer electronics as it is accurate, durable, and has a rich black finish that matches production parts. This suggests a time when 3D printing will not only create production ready parts but also speed up automated, immediate manufacturing, transforming everything from aerospace to customized, highly accurate manufacturing.
