Sennheiser’s HDB 630 offers premium sound, ANC, long battery life, and customizable EQ, with wired and wireless support.
The HDB 630 is a new line of premium headphones from Sennheiser designed to offer outstanding sound whether listening wirelessly or wiredly. The HDB 630, which costs $499.95, may be booked on Sennheiser's website and will begin shipping on October 21, 2025. The HDB 630 originally resembles the 2022 Momentum 4 in design. The reason for this is that they both use the same chassis. Yet, the HDB 630 offers some major improvements, like active noise cancellation (ANC), a carefully adjusted acoustic system for better sound focus, and an amazing 60 hours of battery life when ANC is used. For busy users, an easy 10-minute charge allows for seven hours of playback.
The HDB 630's ability to offer high-quality sound up to 24-bit/96 kHz with a USB-C or 3.5 mm connection is one of its main features. It supports aptX Adaptive, a codec for wireless audio that produces sound that is almost perfect. Sennheiser offers a USB-C transmitter dongle so the user can experience high-quality audio even if the phone doesn't support it directly, as only a small number of devices support this codec.
In addition, Sennheiser's Smart Control Plus app now has a parametric equalizer that operates with the headphones. With filters, frequency changes, and A/B testing of different EQ settings, this tool allows users to customize sound. Users will be able to share EQ presets through QR codes in a future update, offering sound personalization a social edge. With more people looking for compact studio-quality audio, the HDB 630 is a smart and adaptable option. Sennheiser also suggests a future in which AI may be used in headphones to automatically modify sound in real time, personalizing it to each particular listener.
