Otto Aviation adopts Galorath’s AI-powered SEER platform to improve cost estimation, risk analysis, and manufacturing planning.
Otto Aviation, located in Yorba Linda, California, has selected Galorath’s advanced SEER platform as its preferred tool for cost estimation, manufacturing planning, and risk evaluation. The strategic decision will help drive development efficiency and cost predictability as Otto develops its next-generation transonic super-laminar (TSL) aircraft, a new generation of environmentally friendly and aerodynamically superior planes.
Galorath's SEER technology, crafted in Long Beach, California, provides advanced AI-driven operational insight and historical data analytics to facilitate advanced aerospace development. Two key modules SEER for Manufacturing (SEER-MFG) and SEER-3D will be used by Otto Aviation to build dynamic, data-based cost models. Both modules easily integrate with CAD data and use predictive analytics and historical benchmarks to create precise, updateable cost and risk profiles across the aircraft development cycle.
"Moving into the next generation of aircraft design, time-to-market, quality assurance, and resource specificity are our keys to success," observed Dr. Obi K. Ndu, Chief Information and Digital Officer at Otto Aviation. "Embedding Galorath's SEER platform into processes means we have the proper tools to fight economy-driven limits and concentrate on cost, outcome forecasting, and design requirements fulfillment."
The capability of the SEER platform to streamline work breakdown structures (WBS) and offer a single environment for data will enable Otto's vision to bring environmentally friendly and operationally efficient aircraft. Besides, it provides an early lead in planning, ensuring compliance with regulations and conformity to changing aerospace standards.
Charles Orlando, Galorath's Chief Strategy Officer, highlighted the need for accuracy and flexibility: "Sustainable flight innovation requires stringent control. SEER assists aerospace creators in fighting complexity while preserving schedule, cost, and quality objectives."
This partnership supports Otto's focus on innovation and sustainability in aerospace, making it at the vanguard of the future aviation technology.
