Whitemore joins Indeed as CMO, bringing decades of marketing expertise to drive global growth.
Indeed, a leading job matching and recruiting platform, appointed James Whitemore as its Chief Marketing Officer. Whitemore will report to Chief Revenue Officer Maggie Hulce and become a member of Indeed's senior leadership team. As CMO, Whitemore will be in charge of Indeed's worldwide marketing team which includes the Indeed Hiring Lab, global communications and brand, industry, category, lifecycle, country and field marketing. Whitemore joins Indeed with more than 25 years of experience leading sales and strategic marketing campaigns. Whitemore most recent position was Chief Marketing & Growth Officer at Celigo, a prominent cloud integration platform, where he was in charge of the sales and marketing plan to increase the company's visibility in an industry that is growing swiftly and spur growth. Whitemore oversaw the marketing operations at Sun Microsystems Storage Products Group for almost ten years, in addition to holding executive leadership roles at IBM Europe and Intrado.
