Modern ERP system to boost transparency, speed, and efficiency in land management.
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has been given ₹2.5 crore by the state government of Uttar Pradesh to create a new online system for managing land and property data. The new system will be built upon an enhanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform to enhance transparency, speed, and efficiency in work related to land.
As per LDA officials, this move will update the process of acquiring land and maintaining records. It will assist in faster decision-making, improved monitoring of land transactions, and minimizing manual effort. One of the major objectives is to ensure the timely payment of compensation to landowners and make the process more transparent and easier to understand.
According to LDA Vice-Chairman Prathamesh Kumar, the current ERP system is outdated and does not meet the demands of the modern digital world. The new system will be capable of supporting more website visitors simultaneously, responding faster, and enabling users to easily access land ownership and acquisition information.
The new portal is likely to be completed by December 2025. It will have Aadhaar-based authentication, an online payment gateway, digital certificates, and a streamlined document management system. According to LDA Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Devansh Trivedi, the additional features will improve the dependability and usability of services relating to properties.
The approval of the fund was after a formal application was submitted by the LDA vice-chairman on March 12, 2025. The officials feel that the assistance will fortify the digital initiatives in urban development and enhance the way people interact with land and property services.
The new ERP system is considered a huge leap towards guaranteeing transparency in real estate deals and providing improved services to the citizens of Lucknow.
