OnePlus 13T Launching Soon with New Design and Features

The OnePlus 13T, featuring AI-powered design and performance, is set to launch in April.

OnePlus is preparing to roll out its newest phone, the OnePlus 13T, which is expected to hit Chinese shelves this April. Although the company has yet to make an official announcement of the launch date, hints by top OnePlus officials give a thrilling preview of what consumers can look forward to in the new phone.

The OnePlus 13T will come in three colors, as stated by OnePlus China President Louis Lee. While the actual colors were not revealed, Lee said one of the colors would be very appealing to young consumers, suggesting a hip and young aesthetic. This is in line with the brand's practice of releasing several colour options, with the OnePlus 13 coming in Arctic Dawn, Black Eclipse, and Midnight Ocean, and the OnePlus 13R in Astral Trail and Nebula Noir.

In terms of design, the OnePlus 13T ought to feature a flat thin display as opposed to other models like the OnePlus 13, whose curved screens are apparent. As per leaks, the phone ought to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a silky 120Hz refresh rate to give users a clear and bright display. Also, the OnePlus 13T will feature a shortcut key that can be customized on the left, replacing the traditional alert slider.

The OnePlus 13T will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, along with a maximum of 16GB of RAM and 512GB of native storage. The phone will run on Android 15-based ColorOS 15, offering a smooth user experience. For photography, the OnePlus 13T can have dual 50-megapixel rear cameras, including a telephoto lens. The phone is also likely to come with a 6,200mAh battery, with fast 80W charging support.

With all these encouraging qualities, the OnePlus 13T promises to leave users awed once it drops into the markets next few months.
