New tool simplifies integration with over 270 data sources, accelerating big data access.
CData Software, the industry leader in data connectivity technology, has introduced its Microsoft Fabric Integration Accelerator, a powerful tool to create and accelerate data integration from Microsoft Fabric to outside data sources. The announcement was made at the Microsoft Fabric Community Conference, outlining how the new solution will help organizations overcome the hurdle of bringing disparate datasets together into Microsoft Fabric environments.
The Microsoft Fabric Integration Accelerator is a crucial product for organizations that handle massive amounts of data. It makes it easy to connect to over 270 data sources, including major enterprise systems like SAP, Workday, and Salesforce. Such high levels of connectivity are especially important during the era of big data, where organizations have to integrate and analyze huge amounts of data from various external systems in an efficient manner. Through this process, which is streamlined by the accelerator, companies are able to achieve more time-to-value, reducing the time it takes to access and utilize data from months to days.
Manish Patel, CData's chief product officer, described how organizations using Microsoft Fabric tend to have a very difficult time integrating data that is not within the Microsoft ecosystem. The accelerator was designed to address these issues and deliver quicker access to integrated information in such a way that businesses can derive maximum utility from their Microsoft Fabric environment.
The solution involves a number of important toolkits, including the OneLake/Warehouse Build Toolkit that provides point-and-click data ingestion and Change Data Capture (CDC), the Power BI Live Connectivity Toolkit for live connectivity from within Power BI, and the Azure Data Factory Extension Toolkit to enhance ADF connectivity beyond natively supported Microsoft sources. The accelerator also boasts a volume-independent pricing model that supports consistent and large-scale spending by large businesses with large data requirements, which makes integration even easier.
