Crisp joins Bishop Fleming, strengthening audit services amid rapid Bristol growth and regional expansion.
A consultancy company in the UK, Bishop Fleming offers auditing, accounting and tax services. With a £43.1 million turnover, the company has grown by about 13% in the past 12 months. For Bishop Fleming's Bristol office, where the audit team currently numbers close to 100 professionals, Stuart Crisp's arrival is important.
Crisp expressed interest about joining Bishop Fleming, citing the firm’s bold growth ambitions and his eagerness to contribute to its continued success. He stated that a major factor in his choice was the firm's significant presence in Bristol, where it has quickly expanded to rank among the biggest offices outside of the Big Four. He also stated that Bishop Fleming's stellar reputation and supportive work environment were key draws.
In order to handle this quick growth, Bishop Fleming is also enlarging its Bristol office space, adding a level to its prominent position. The company's longstanding devotion to the city is established by this investment, which also gives its expanding staff a vibrant, cooperative office. The firm's continued investment in the city is reflected in this expansion, which also fits with its Better expansion plan, which has seen audit revenues rise by at least 23% over the previous three years.
The firm is on target to achieve similar outcomes as it begins another successful year, further consolidating its standing as one of the top audit providers in the area. Crisp was eager to clarify, though, that although Bristol is "an important hub," his responsibilities will also span the entire region, guaranteeing that the business keeps expanding its reach.
Andrew Sandiford, managing partner at Bishop Fleming, welcomed Stuart’s appointment to the partner group, highlighting his extensive experience in managing growth across both small and large firms. Sandiford highlighted that Stuart’s expertise would bring added value to clients and support the sustainable expansion of the firm’s audit team.
