Sapio ELN boosts pharma research with AI-driven molecular modeling tools.
Sapio Sciences, the science-aware laboratory informatics platform, has made the NVIDIA BioNeMo platform available within the Sapio Lab Informatics Platform. With this partnership, AI-powered computational drug discovery is being integrated into Sapio ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook), making workflows more efficient and decision-making smarter in pharmaceutical research.
Researchers can accelerate drug discovery using BioNeMo through the utilization of science-domain AI models, pre-trained models, and generative AI tools to find potential drug candidates and enhance target selection accuracy. NVIDIA BioNeMo provides a platform for large biomolecular language model training and deployment at supercomputing scale, which significantly accelerates AI-driven research.
The incorporation of BioNeMo into the Sapio Platform brings in-built in silico tools, allowing researchers to create new candidate molecules at the outset of the research process and check their docking with target proteins. AI-powered molecular simulations in an integrated workflow accelerate innovation and speed up the discovery-to-development process.
Scientists at Sapio Biotech ELN can utilize BioNeMo NIM to rapidly search and optimize drug candidates with molecular modeling solutions such as AlphaFold2 NIM to model 3D protein structures, MoIMIM NIM to design and optimize small molecules, and DiffDock NIM, an AI docking model developed by MIT. AI solutions accelerate research workflows without significant setup, making it efficient and fast.
