CloudBees boosts DevSecOps with AI-driven innovations, empowering enterprises for cloud transformation and software evolution.
CloudBees, the software development platform of choice, revealed that thousands of developers and industry thought leaders will attend DevOps World Virtual 2024 to celebrate 20 years of Jenkins and discuss the future of DevSecOps with an emphasis on cloud transformation and AI-powered software development. As businesses spend more on AI and hybrid cloud technologies, CloudBees remains a force driving the future of DevOps.
Anuj Kapur, CEO of CloudBees, underlined Global 2000's three imperatives: making developers more productive, securing applications for today, and adopting AI as part of their digital journey. He alluded to the dilemma in the hybrid and multi-vendor reality and described how CloudBees' SaaS DevSecOps platform is the best partner to bridge them. Kapur joined CloudBees in 2022 following valuable experience at Cisco and SAP.
CloudBees has seen astronomical growth, with more than $150 million in annual recurring revenue and profitability. With more than 500,000 developers leveraging its solutions, the company is now a valued partner to several of the planet's largest organizations, such as Salesforce, Adobe, Accenture, and Mount Sinai Health System. These advancements come on the heels of the worldwide hybrid cloud marketplace projected to grow above $145 billion by 2026, as Gartner estimates that 85% of organizations will have a hybrid cloud infrastructure in place by 2025.
In line with its aggressive expansion strategy, CloudBees has beefed up its leadership team with industry professionals from top companies including Atlassian, Cisco, and PayPal. CloudBees has also taken innovation leaps by announcing its new SaaS DevSecOps platform and a major Jenkins release—HA/HS—the biggest in over a decade.
CloudBees acquired Launchable in recent times, focusing on augmenting its GenAI capabilities, i.e., test suite intelligence. Through these strategic buys, CloudBees is going to continue accelerating in the DevOps and AI-powered software development domain.
