Sunny and Warmer Week Ahead for Denver as December Starts with Above-Normal Temperatures

Denver, temperatures

A pleasant week of sunshine and mild temperatures awaits Denver as the city enters December.

Denver is in for a sun-kissed and gentle start to December 2024, with above-normal temperatures expected throughout the week. Tonight, the weather will be clear and cool, as low temperatures drop into the lower 20s-a typical occurrence in early December in the Mile High City.

Mainly clear Sunday night, generally in agreement with seasonal means. Cooler conditions will then remain into Monday morning, and the last half of that day should offer more sunshine along with mild conditions. This will boost highs to 50 or so, higher than this time of year often sees.

For those planning to attend the Denver Broncos game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, temperatures will remain mild. By kickoff, the temperature will be in the lower 40s, falling to the 30s by the final whistle. It's expected to be a crisp but comfortable day for outdoor activities.

Denver's weather will continue to improve heading into the middle of the week. Tuesday will see more sunshine and a notable warm-up, with highs reaching the upper 50s, more than 10 degrees above average for this time of year. The rest of the week will follow suit, with highs reaching the mid-50s on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This should provide good opportunities for outdoor activities and getting into the holiday spirit.

As we near the weekend, temperatures should still return to the upper 50s, so this should maintain the mild and sunny trend. Sunshine is then expected to dominate the remainder of the forecast, creating an excellent end to the week as well as a fabulous beginning to December.

As far as Denver is concerned, enjoy the week of clear skies and above-normal temperatures in preparing for outdoor adventures or for holiday festivities.
