Michael Bublé and Carly Pearce release heartfelt Christmas song for those struggling during the holidays

Artists Michael Bublé and Carly Pearce collaborate on a heartfelt new Christmas song titled "Maybe This Christmas," made for those of whom the holiday season is really tough. Bublé, who has shared a photo on Instagram about the song with the phrase "when it comes to Christmas songs destiny just always seems to favor itself.," said he was proud of the song and hoped listeners would relate to it deep down. Being a longtime fan of Bublé, Pearce was overjoyed when he asked her to be a part of the project. In fact, she made an exception to her stern no-listening-to-Christmas-music-before-Thanksgiving policy for this project; the collaboration felt so special.

Bublé explained that "Maybe This Christmas" was written for those who go through loneliness or emotional difficulties during the holidays. He also cited how music heals and how much the song meant to him personally. Pearce also related to the song's theme since she has gone through her bad times during the holidays. She once mentioned that in the worst times of her life, she tried to find strength in her faith.

She reflects with much gratitude on the lessons where she learned to trust in God's timing during tough seasons. Such pain was now redeemed for some of the deepest pains experienced and now enables Pearce to encourage others. Her mother and grandmother had laid a strong foundation of faith for Pearce. They motivated her to seek strength from God rather than staying in the pain. He would later describe that sense of resilience as "Pearce grit," determination to win battles with the help of faith and family.

Through this song, many who feel they are living on the fringes during the holiday period are reminded that, even in the darkest hours, there is comfort and healing through faith and music.
