The mother-son duo dazzles at the prestigious Hollywood event, turning heads with their stylish looks.
Angelina Jolie attends the 2024 Governors Awards on November 17. She walked alongside her son, Knox Jolie-Pitt. The glamorous scene, set by the Ray Dolby Ballroom at the heart of Los Angeles, celebrates the talents and achievements of Hollywood's finest. But it was the talented actress Angelina Jolie with 16-year-old son Knox Jolie-Pitt taking most attention on the red carpet.
Jolie was always entirely elegant, and yesterday she wowed all in a vintage gold and cream dress from The Kit Vintage. The empire waist dress spoke of effortless sophistication wearing brown platform sandals. Her hair was half up, half down, the beautiful diamond necklace and dangling silver earrings completing the look, making her light and luminous. The vintage dress, which was a personal selection from the boutique, highlighted her love for fashion history, as the store's Instagram post described Jolie's approach as both engaged and hands-on in curating her style.
Knox-nearly the same height as his famous mother-made his red-carpet debut in a tuxedo that showcased his blossoming maturity. With a slick, buzzed haircut and shiny patent leather dress shoes, he looked like a young gentleman. The transformation from the last time he went to a public event with his mother—at the Eternals screening in London way back 2021—was striking, as he now stood as a young man alongside one of Hollywood's most iconic actresses.
The occasion will also be that of the 15th Annual Governors Awards, an annual tribute by awarding successful professionals working in films through awards like the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, and Honorary Award annually. It also acts as a lead event to the Academy Awards, where notable memories have often been held onto the Oscar stage.
As Jolie continues to promote her latest project, Maria, it’s clear that her children, including Knox, continue to make special appearances by her side. The duo’s red carpet moment added a memorable touch to the evening.
