LEED Carbon Latest Global Standard

Reaffirming ITC as the pioneer of ‘Responsible Luxury,’ 23 of its hotels have been granted the LEED Platinum Certification by USGBC

ITC, a pioneer of green construction practices, has once again raised the global standard for sustainable infrastructure with its latest LEED Zero Carbon certification. ITC’s prestigious assets, including the Sankhya Data Center in Bangalore and 12 renowned hotels, have been recognized as the first in the world to receive this prestigious certification.

ITC has adopted several green features to reduce its energy footprint, which have been integrated into all its new as well as old constructions, including warehouses, manufacturing units, hotels, and office complexes. Multiple factories of ITC have been awarded the IGBC’s Green Building Certification as well as the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification from USGBC for their continued efforts towards sustainability. In 2004, USGBC awarded the ITC Green Centre at Gurugram with LEED Platinum certification. ITC’s consistent efforts towards incorporating environmentally friendly construction practices, earned 40 of their factories Platinum certification by USGBC/IGBC.  ITC Sankhya, the data center at Bengaluru, is the world’s first data center to achieve the LEED Platinum certification by USGBC, reflecting ITC’s leadership in sustainable architecture and design. Reaffirming ITC as the pioneer of ‘Responsible Luxury,’ 23 of its hotels have been granted the LEED Platinum Certification by USGBC, making it the only global leader to achieve this feat. This latest achievement sets new standards for the industry and reaffirms its persistent commitment to building a greener future.

This accolade represents a turning point in ITC’s sustainability journey and demonstrates the company’s approach to addressing environmental concerns globally through innovation and ethical business practices.
