Aon Appoints Jane Drummond as Global Chief Commercial Officer

Aon has appointed Jane Drummond as Global Chief Commercial Officer, with the new role taking effect on January 1, 2027, as she takes charge of the company’s global commercial strategy.

Aon announced that Jane Drummond will become Global Chief Commercial Officer starting January 1, 2027. She will report to Andy Marcell, Deputy CEO and SEVP, Risk Capital and Human Capital. Drummond will join Aon’s Executive Committee. She will be based in Chicago.

Drummond will replace Anne Corona, who was appointed CEO of North America in March 2026. As Global Chief Commercial Officer at Aon, Drummond will be responsible for Aon’s global go-to-market strategy, sales execution and growth across the Global Solution Lines.

In addition, she will head Aon’s Global Growth Committee. This committee will have representation from regional and solution line Chief Commercial Officers, along with leaders from Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Bid and Proposal Management.

Drummond joined Aon in 2009 and has over 25 years of experience in risk management, risk finance consulting, sales and marketing. Drummond has helped multinational organisations manage their risks and business challenges.

Prior to taking on the global role, Drummond was the Chief Commercial Officer for Asia-Pacific, a position in which she worked with sales executives and CEOs in different countries to bring in new business, build strategic client relationships and develop commercial capabilities. She also led Aon’s Strategic Account Management team in Asia and the Aon Global Client Network.

Business Honor reports that Aon’s appointment of Jane Drummond expands her Asia-Pacific commercial leadership responsibilities to a global role focused on sales, client strategy and growth.
