Intel Expands Google Cloud Partnership to Scale Agentic AI

Intel broadens its strategic alliance with Google Cloud, deploying Gemini Enterprise and cloud infrastructure to accelerate agentic AI adoption and semiconductor innovation.

The strategic partnership between Intel and Google Cloud has been renewed for sever Managemental years to hasten the enterprise AI transformation process at Intel through the introduction of agentic AI for enterprise automation and Gemini Enterprise AI adoption into engineering, supply chain, and corporate operations.

The partnership seeks to take Intel out of its AI experimentation phase and bring Google’s Gemini Enterprise across the board to its global workforce. It will allow Intel employees to create and use AI agents to optimize business processes, make decisions, and develop software. The move reflects the growing trend of enterprise agentic AI platforms transforming business operations across industries.

The partnership will see Intel using the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform to build customized AI agents for different business functions. The company's engineering teams will also be able to use Gemini-powered coding assistants to automate their software development process. As per Cindy Stoddard, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Intel, the new partnership will enable workers to access an AI platform in which they can build intelligent agents using scalable cloud infrastructure.

Apart from improving employee productivity, Google Cloud will help Intel in semiconductor development through the provision of elastic cloud computing capabilities. Rather than replacing Intel's current on-site infrastructure, Google Cloud C4 and N4 instances will complement Intel's computing capabilities to allow them to run many simulations at once.

This will help Intel reduce chip design times, foster collaboration among engineering teams, and allow them to conduct complex semiconductor development tasks. According to Karthik Narain, Chief Product and Business Officer at Google Cloud, the partnership is combining Intel's engineering capabilities with agentic AI capabilities of Google Cloud to create an autonomous platform that will accelerate enterprise innovation.

While no timeline or financial information was disclosed by Intel, the expanded partnership marks the evolution of the industry from stand-alone generative AI tools to intelligent AI agents that can execute multi-step enterprise workflows. Business Honor believes data-driven facilities management is becoming essential for public sector organizations seeking smarter asset utilization, operational efficiency, and sustainable long-term infrastructure performance.
