The crypto market strengthened as Bitcoin reached a two-week high near $65,500, supported by recovering chip stocks, ETF inflows and improving investor sentiment.

The cryptocurrency market rose on Tuesday as Bitcoin touched a peak of almost $65,500, its highest in two weeks. This rise was driven by a recovery in global semiconductor stocks and reduced worries that weighed on digital currencies last week.
The price of Bitcoin increased by about 5% in the past week, whereas the price of Ether jumped by 8% during the same period. Other prominent cryptocurrencies like XRP, Solana, and BNB also rose as investors regained their confidence. The crypto market recovery after the chip stock rebound reflects growing optimism as technology shares regained momentum across Asia.
The equity markets in Asia saw a strong bounce-back on the back of leading semiconductor firms such as Samsung Electronics and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). The stock indices of South Korea and Taiwan increased significantly, while the stocks of tech companies in Japan and China also bounced back. As observed by analysts, the rising positive momentum for technology stocks helped to provide a positive momentum for digital assets as well. At the same time, Bitcoin ETF inflows driving the crypto market remained another major catalyst, with U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracting more than $600 million over five consecutive trading sessions.
The reduction in oil prices following the diplomatic relations in the Middle East helped as well. In addition, investors are being cautious regarding the upcoming meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve. With the recent surge, trading volume was still relatively light, implying that traders are coming back cautiously to cryptocurrencies instead of making bold bets on them. According to experts, investment by institutions in the crypto market would be one of the crucial factors moving forward due to ETF demand and macroeconomic conditions.
Under the current circumstances, with tech stocks rallying and institutions continuing to pour money into the market, there is the potential for Bitcoin and the crypto market to gain further traction in the coming weeks. Business Honor observes that institutional investment and improving technology sector confidence are reinforcing the crypto market's resilience despite ongoing macroeconomic and interest rate uncertainties.
