Avalara, leading agentic artificial intelligence in global taxation and compliance has announced registration is open for its flagship conference, Avalara CRUSH Europe 2026, taking place at The Dorchester Hotel in London on 8 October. The event will provide an opportunity for tax, finance/accounting/e-commerce, and technology executives from around Europe to come together and discuss the evolving regulatory environment that they are operating under while also looking for ways to increase operational efficiencies. These factors have also led to increased pressure being placed on compliance teams throughout Europe, where regulatory structures are changing at an unprecedented rate and firms have to balance their new compliance requirements against the requirement for growth and operational efficiency.

As a result, as part of announcing CRUSH Europe 2026, Danny Fields (Chief Technology and Customer Operations Officer - Avalara) highlighted this problem for compliance executives throughout Europe; "Compliance leaders in Europe are facing unprecedented levels of change in regulation while they work on new ways to create efficiencies and grow their companies," said Danny. "CRUSH Europe provides a forum for our customers and partners to learn from industry experts, network with their peers, and see how agentic AI is changing the face of tax and compliance from an administrative burden to a strategic, automated advantage." The agenda for the conference reflects Avalara's strategic focus on the use of agentic AI for providing solutions to tax and compliance challenges.

Attendees will encounter visionary keynotes and roundtable discussions exploring how agentic AI is reshaping the future of global tax and compliance. These sessions aim to position artificial intelligence not as a supplementary tool but as a fundamental transformation of how organizations approach regulatory obligations. A central highlight of CRUSH Europe 2026 will be live product demonstrations highlighting Avalara's advanced technology platform. The presentations will feature particular emphasis on Avi, Avalara's AI tax and compliance agent, which demonstrates capabilities spanning multiple critical compliance functions. These include e-invoicing automation, tariff classification for international trade, exemption certificate management, and real-time tax code prediction. The demonstration of Avi's capabilities will provide attendees with concrete examples of how agentic AI can address real-world compliance challenges.

Beyond keynote presentations, the conference structure incorporates multiple formats designed to facilitate both learning and networking. Fireside chats will bring together industry perspectives, while customer stories will provide real-world narratives from businesses navigating complex compliance environments. These sessions are intended to offer practical insights rather than theoretical frameworks, allowing attendees to understand how peer organizations are implementing AI-driven solutions. The networking component of CRUSH Europe recognizes the value of peer connections within the tax compliance and tax profession. The event will create structured opportunities for attendees to connect with fellow compliance leaders, Avalara executives, and industry partners. These connections often prove valuable beyond the conference itself, fostering ongoing professional relationships and knowledge sharing.

Business Honor is of the view that Avalara's agentic AI positioning represents a transformative shift in how European organizations approach tax compliance automation and regulatory navigation capabilities.
