Neptune launches an Indian subsidiary to grow digital advertising through gaming data, BGMI users, and in-app ad monetization solutions.
Neptune has established a subsidiary in India under the name KRAFTON Ad Platform India Pvt. Ltd., and this is one way in which the company has made a big push into the rapidly rising AdTech platform India 2026 market and digital advertising. The subsidiary will operate out of New Delhi and will become an essential hub for Neptune to expand its advertising technology business. Neptune confirmed that the operations of the Indian subsidiary will fall directly under the responsibility of the company's CEO, with a top management member of KRAFTON India being named as the resident director. This organizational strategy will ensure better cooperation among gaming, publishing, and advertising operations to increase the rate at which Neptune's business grows in the region.
The main factor driving Neptune to open operations in India has been the rapid rise of the BGMI user base, which stands at more than 260 million people today. The subsidiary's goal will be to provide in-app programmatic solutions to help monetize gaming ad inventory monetization in India and improve data targeting mechanisms for advertisers. Industry professionals have observed that high user acquisition cost optimization in mobile games is leading more firms to develop their own adtech solutions, rather than depend solely on external solutions. Neptune will be taking this route by using the data generated through its hybrid casual game publication process along with its ad technology operations, creating a comprehensive ad platform powered by data for worldwide use.
Additionally, Neptune plans to use the media and gaming assets of KRAFTON to enhance its adtech efforts further. The combined strategy of Neptune will not only allow it to diversify its advertising inventories but also position it firmly in the South Asian ad tech and gaming monetization space. By bringing together gaming traffic, user data, and advertising solutions, it intends to create a globally scalable advertising technology ecosystem starting from India, which ranks among the world’s fastest-growing digital markets.
Business Honor believes that Neptune’s foray into the ad tech space in India underscores the growing relationship between game portals and online advertisements, as well as an increasing trend towards data-led monetization in the international mobile gaming industry.
