Language AI leader DeepL introduces Voice-to-Voice technology enabling instant spoken translation across meetings, conversations, and customer platforms without language barriers.
DeepL has introduced real-time translation features that aim to remove all barriers to communication through speech. The Voice-to-Voice package of products will help translate between virtual meetings, face-to-face discussions, and customer communication channels instantly, enabling global teams to work together naturally using their languages of preference without the need for expensive translation services and interpreters.
Several Voice-to-Voice products have been introduced by DeepL specifically to cater to the requirements of business organizations. Voice for Meetings is compatible with Microsoft Teams and Zoom software, offering simultaneous translation of discussions during conferences. Voice for Conversations works across mobile and desktop devices, and Group Conversations helps facilitate multilingual interactions during training sessions. A Voice-to-Voice API can be used to integrate real-time translations within company software and contact centers. An independent assessment by Slator revealed that 96% of professional translators favored the DeepL Voice translation service over other competitive offerings provided by Google, Microsoft, and Zoom.

Apart from its voice technology, DeepL's new generation of the Translator platform will address inefficiencies in conventional enterprise translation management. These include Translation Flow for real-time content translation, Quality Assessment that reveals accuracy metrics, and continuous learning from corrections.
With more than 40 languages supported by DeepL's real-time translation technology, including all 24 official European Union languages, Voice for Meetings becomes available in early access from June. Group Conversations and customization become available in late April and May.
