New investment aims to streamline hotel operations by eliminating manual tasks through intelligent automation technology.
RobosizeME is a tech company that focuses on creating intelligent workflow automation solutions for the hospitality industry. Earlier this week, RobosizeME completed an oversubscribed seed-funding round of $2 million, which was led by SeedTwo Capital. The funding will enable RobosizeME to continue developing its patented solution, which helps to automate repetitive manual tasks associated with hotel operations, a well-known and substantial pain point for the hospitality industry (approximately $580 billion annually in revenue). Aside from their size and revenue, much of the hospitality industry's back-office operations–including reservations, finances, and guest services–are still time-consuming and labor-intensive.
RobosizeME aims to eliminate these labor costs and reduce the operational expenses associated with them by offering automation solutions to help hospitality operators reduce errors, lower operating/administrative costs, and enable their employees to spend more time on activities that enhance revenue generation and better serve customers.
Roger Sholanki, founder of SeedTwo Capital, explained that the hospitality industry has many operational complexities and that RobosizeME provides hospitality companies with automation solutions that allow them to achieve immediate returns on investment (ROI) for their hotel operators by integrating automation into existing workflows. Therefore, SeedTwo Capital is interested in collaborating with RobosizeME as it expands its impact on the global hospitality industry. Vlad Sarca, general partner of Sparking Capital, told me, “Our decision to fund RobosizeME is based on our belief in the team and the size of the opportunity."
RobosizeME provides 24/7 automated operations that increase operational efficiency while maintaining current staffing levels. For example, one US hotel chain saved over $1 million in labor over the course of one year after implementing RobosizeME's products on multiple properties within that chain.
