Pegasystems Launches AI Tool to Modernize Lotus Notes Workflows

Pegasystems has introduced a new AI-based legacy workflow modernization tool that assists businesses in dealing with important business processes and modernizing old Lotus Notes applications. Email, calendar, instant messaging, and collaboration have been provided by Lotus Notes, which was created in the 1980s and acquired by IBM in 1995. Currently, around 34,000 organizations use Lotus Notes and Domino for document management, claims processing, and approval processes despite being outdated.

This solution uses the InvestigatorPlus technology to analyze the size, complexity, and activity of applications by scanning the Lotus Notes databases to provide a comprehensive workflow portfolio analysis. The extracted information and processes are then imported into Pega Blueprint, where AI-driven process orchestration capabilities integrate the broken logic of applications into fully automated, modern workflows.

The solution integrates advanced migration capabilities, AI-driven business process transformation, and the CAALM experience of Capgemini in data migration, testing, validation, and change management. The solution is offered by Pega's partner Capgemini on AWS Marketplace or as a standalone solution on Pega Marketplace. This end-to-end approach enables faster modernization of enterprise digital workflows with less reliance on legacy technology.
