Red Hat and NVIDIA unite to streamline enterprise AI infrastructure with comprehensive platform support and hybrid cloud solutions.
Red Hat has significantly expanded its collaboration with NVIDIA and the partnership focuses on the next major step in supporting enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. During this transition, organizations will move from small-scale experimental AI projects to a larger-scale and centralized deployment strategy. One of the primary aspects of this partnership is Red Hat Enterprise Linux for NVIDIA, which is a custom version of Red Hat's flagship operation system that has been designed with NVIDIA's recently released innovation in the field of AI. This custom-designed operating system will be developed specifically for use alongside NVIDIA's forthcoming Rubin platform, which brings together high-performance technologies like the NVIDIA Vera CPU, Rubin GPUs, BlueField-4 data processors, and NVL72 Systems for racks and data centers.
In preparation for deploying and using AI workloads in the business by 2026, this joint venture will help organizations to address foundational technology issues. As organizations continue to look for dependable solutions to implement widely utilized workloads of AI training, inference, and agent deployment with high security standards and operational reliability, Red Hat intends to support the Rubin platform across its hybrid cloud and AI product portfolio from day 0. The two companies' goal is to create a standardized stack of software that allows for the deployment of AI workloads across a variety of environments from on-premises data centres to public and edge-based cloud infrastructure.
The integration of Red Hat’s open-source enterprise software with NVIDIA’s AI platform technologies creates a strategic partnership that will fulfill the industry's requirement to have greater compatibility between various product platforms for building, deploying, and utilizing large-scale AI systems. This partnership provides evidence of the technology industry's intent to simplify access to and usage of advanced AI systems throughout all industries and sectors; through this partnership, industry analysts predict that enterprise-level utilization of advanced AI technology will expand rapidly as the result of having an easier and more predictable way to deploy it on a larger scale.
