Union Minister Nitin Gadkari releases AgroSpectrum magazine emphasizing modern technologies' role in agriculture during Agrovision event.
The Agrovision Expo, which took place for four days, concluded with an announcement made by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari that Agrovision will continue its work for the entire year. At the event, Gadkari launched the December issue of AgroSpectrum (a B2B publication for the Agri-Food Industry) developed and published by MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications. It provides coverage of the introductory sessions and highlights about startups and AI at the Agrovision event. Also, it provides articles by experts in various fields (AgriTech Experts and Industry leaders) on Agritech applications, including but not limited to, weather monitoring, agrifood innovations (genetics, etc.), remote sensing applications, seed technology, and Precision Ag. Moreover, it contains an interview of the Honorable Minister of Minority Affairs and Fisheries, George Kurian about the Marine Fisheries Census 2025.
This issue contains an interview with Gadkari regarding how AI, ML, and IoT can be integrated into Agriculture. He expressed hopes that next year’s show will be able to take place at the new Convention Centre being built on the campus of the Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth located along the Amravati Highway. Many distinguished guests attended the event, including Union Minister of State for Agriculture: Ashish Jaiswal; actor Pravin Tarde; Agrovision organizing secretary, Ravi Boratkar; Agrovision Foundation adviser, Dr C D Mayee; Dr. Sharad Gadakh, PDKV, Akola; and MAFSU Vice Chancellor, Dr. Nitin Patil. More than 125,000 people attended the Expo, consisting of farmers, researchers, businesses, industry representatives and other people involved in agriculture.
The December issue contains many insightful interviews from business leaders such as Juzar Khorakiwala (CMD Biostadt Group) and Navneet Ravikar (Group Chairman and Managing Director of Leads Connect Services) regarding Agri Biologicals and Agritech industries. The lead article discusses notable agriculture shifts taking place in India due to innovation within these sectors.
