L&T Technology Services and Autodesk Software Partner to Drive Digital Transformation in Process and Manufacturing Industries.
L&T Technology Services, a global leader in the AI, Digital and ER&D Consulting Services Space, today announced a partnership with Autodesk to enable AI-led digital transformation in the process and manufacturing industries. This collaboration centers on sustainability in a big way. LTTS intends to integrate Autodesk's digital engineering tools along with their cloud-based manufacturing solutions into the existing Center of Excellence facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. That facility goes by the name CoE. The CoE will act as a regional destination for digital plant innovation and serve clients in the FMCG, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, automotive and food & beverage sectors with modular, connected and data-driven manufacturing solutions. The CoE will manage LTTS's AI models. It draws on machine learning to monitor asset health and support business scalability.
Alind Saxena, Executive Director and President of Mobility and Tech at L&T Technology Services, said, “The manufacturing sector is seeing a paradigm shift, from traditional plant engineering models to connected, AI-enabled frameworks. In this partnership with Autodesk, we will offer our clients future-ready digital plant solutions to enable speed of execution, cost efficiency and operational sustainability.” The LTTS-Autodesk CoE will present a complete BIM-to-operations lifecycle for plant engineering, from conceptual and detailed design, to commissioning, then deploying a digital twin and ultimately managing asset performance.
The partnership continues the long-term association between Autodesk and LTTS providing assurance to LTTS clients of a single ecosystem for digital business, design innovation and connected manufacturing transformation. “With the integration of Autodesk’s capabilities into this CoE, we are reinforcing a key step in strengthening India's digital manufacturing ecosystem, so that industries can embrace future-ready, sustainable, high performance plant operations. This commitment to enhancing India’s digital manufacturing ecosystem aligns closely with our shared vision, along with LTTS, to transform industrial design and manufacturing using data and cloud intelligence to make plants more agile, efficient and future-ready.” Haresh Khoobchandani, Vice President of Asia Pacific & Japan, Autodesk also said.
