Taobao launches Single’s day sale at exclusive offers, major savings and free shipping for Australian customers.
Taobao, Alibaba Group’s top e-commerce platform just launched its annual Singles’ Day sale. The event features site-wide discounts and free shipping on lifestyle & fashion, all wrapped up in the “Anything & Everything – Taobao it!” campaign. Singles’ Day is the world’s biggest shopping event, running through November 14, and Taobao is not holding back. The company is slashing prices across the board, making it easier and a whole lot cheaper for Australians to get in on the action.
Roy Huang, who heads up Marketing and Operations for Australia at Taobao, stated: “We’re thrilled by how passionate Australian shoppers are. This year, we are doubling down with free shipping and bigger discounts. We want to make cross-border shopping as easy as possible, and Singles’ Day is the perfect time to do it.” Shoppers can receive up to 15% off everything on the site until November 14. In addition, if customers spend at least $50 on clothes, shoes, or accessories, they may receive a $15 Welcome Bonus and a special exclusive deal.
The platform is becoming the spot for good deals on clothes. If a customer is shopping on the English language site, the person can find over 300 different styles of clothing and accessories. If the customer can use the Chinese-language site, the options increase to more than 1,200 styles. Pet owners, anime fans, and model kit builders can see that there is something for everyone. The company expects to expand its site options to more languages and provide a variety of accessories during the campaign.
