Bilibili will release merchandise based on Kazutaka Kodaka’s games, its details and international availability remain unknown.
Chinese streaming site Bilibili is now ready to launch products inspired by famous video game writer and director Kazutaka Kodaka, who created well-known titles including The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy and the Danganronpa series. Many seemed surprised by the news, including Kodaka, who stated that he was even more puzzled than the fans. Kodaka suggested at a partnership on social media by posting a photo of Too Kyo Games and Denmu with the Bilibili Goods logo. The types of items that will be offered and the dates of their availability are still unknown, though. In addition, the availability of these products outside China on sites like Amiami is unknown.
At Spike Chunsoft, Kodaka grew to fame as a writer and director, especially for the Danganronpa series, that combines visual novel and murder mystery aspects. He founded Too Kyo Games in 2017, creating further games like Tribe Nine, The Hundred Line, and Master Detective Archives: Rain Code. Bilibili's move into Kodaka themed merchandise is an advancement for his brand while showing the combination of gaming and real treasures. Shuten Order, Kodaka's most recent game, is accessible on the PC and Nintendo Switch.
Future products may be active treasure, responding to fans or speaking due to technological advancements like augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI). Fans' experience with and characters can be modified by this combination of Bilibili's platform and Kodaka's narrative.
