StandardAero officially opened its new, expanded business aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at Augusta Regional Airport in Augusta, Georgia, marking a significant investment in the aerospace sector. The addition of 80,500 square feet to the facility enables the company to deliver top-notch MRO services to business aviation operators in North America and worldwide. The new, expanded facility features additional space for key services, including a hangar, engine shop, advanced avionics, and enhanced customer amenities. The company looks for this expansion to significantly improve the company's capacity for Honeywell HTF7000 engine maintenance, for which StandardAero is the only independent overhaul provider.

In addition to engine MRO support, the expanded facility increases airframe service capacity, specifically for large cabin business jets. StandardAero's dedication to the business aviation market is evident, and the expansion also creates approximately 100 new positions within the region. The Augusta location has a current workforce of approximately 175 and is part of a global network of nearly 7,700 employees.

The other operations also reflect StandardAero's drive to meet customers' demands for faster turnaround times and increased capacity. As part of the company's long-term expansion strategy, they plan to run the engine shop at maximum capacity in the first six months of 2026.
