Natalie Rothman joins Hershey as CHRO, bringing decades of HR leadership and transformation experience.
The Hershey Company has named Natalie Rothman as its new Chief Human Resources Officer starting from August 18, 2025. Rothman will report directly to President and CEO Kirk Tanner and will lead Hershey’s global HR policy.
Rothman brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the field of human resources. She has previously held senior human resources positions at famous businesses like Advance Auto Parts and Inspire Brands. In these positions, she supported sizable, hourly workforces in sectors including retail, consumer goods and food service while thinking on changing HR systems using technology and artificial intelligence. Rothman was welcomed to the team by CEO Kirk Tanner, who said that Hershey will benefit greatly from her leadership, industry expertise and track record of creating strong, organizations that put people first. He went on to say that Hershey's ability to ambition change and force corporate success will be fundamental as it expands its operations internationally.
At Inspire Brands, Rothman introduced modern HR tools and robotic systems to improve operations. At Advance Auto Parts, she played a main role in restructuring the company’s culture and workforce plan, helping to attract and develop talent through digital creation. Also, her corporate roles, Rothman is active on several boards. She is presently a board member for Udemy Pearce Services and provides guidance to the Emory Goizueta Business School and New Mountain Capital.
She holds legal licenses in both New Jersey and New York. Known for its popular products including Reese's, Kit Kat, and SkinnyPop, Hershey employs over 20,000 people worldwide. According to the corporation, Rothman's appointment advances its objectives of expanding its pool of talent, improving employee satisfaction and preserving its position as the market leader in snacks globally.
