FundBank adopts Temenos SaaS platform to accelerate U.S. expansion and enhance banking services for asset management.
FundBank, a Cayman Islands financial institution focused on providing asset management industry banking services, has implemented Temenos' Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform in order to power its expansion within the United States. By embracing Temenos' end-to-end suite of cloud-based services—core banking, digital banking, payments, and analytics—FundBank can streamline processes and innovate at speed. Temenos will handle the platform's day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upgrades so FundBank can concentrate on growth and strategy.
FundBank provides customized banking and custodial services to asset management clients, such as multi-currency bank accounts, payment processing, and custody and trading services. With its growth in the U.S., the institution can better offer more efficient services to fund managers so that it is more convenient for them to manage their assets and investments.
The Temenos SaaS conversion provides FundBank with a number of key benefits. First, it allows the institution to bring new products to market faster and more easily. The SaaS environment also allows for an entirely digital corporate onboarding experience, improving the speed and convenience of client onboarding. Moreover, Temenos' cloud platform provides FundBank with the infrastructure needed to expand its business effectively and affordably geographically.
In a statement, Diarmuid O'Donovan, FundBank's Global Chief Information Officer, said that there was a need to leverage the cloud-based technology of Temenos for improving its services and coping with the evolving needs of the financial sector. With this SaaS deployment, FundBank aims to create a more agile and future-proof architecture for sustainable growth.
