Business Honor- Boeing Appoints Shashank Jha as India CIO & Tech Leader

Shashank Jha named as Boeing India CIO, to lead digital strategy and innovation efforts.

Boeing India has named Shashank Jha as its Chief Information Officer (CIO) and head of Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S). Based in Bengaluru, Jha will oversee daily activities and strategy for Boeing's IDT&S team in India, which employs over 1,500 people.

Adopting teamwork and developing talent and promoting the India site's engagement with the global Boeing network are among Jha's duties. In order to support Boeing's engineering and product activities he will also work with teams around the world. Lucia Chung, Vice President of IDT&S and CIO for Engineering & Product Support has expressed excitement about Shashank Jha joining as the India head of IDT&S. She stated that his extensive experience in engineering systems and digital transformation is expected to raise invention and improve Boeing’s operations.

Jha will lead the India IDT&S team and serve as executive director for commercial Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, which is essential to Boeing's engineering operations. Shashank Jha shared his interest for the new role proving India's important position within Boeing’s global digital and engineering network. He noted that he looks forward to cooperating with skilled teams to drive invention, develop future capabilities and support the company’s long term growth. Jha has more than 20 years of experience and is a significant expert in product engineering, cyber security, enterprise systems and digital conversion. Before to Boeing, he led Dover India's Global Capability Center. In addition, he has held executive roles at Bosch, Honeywell, and GE.
