Poland's B2 Impact enhances IT operations with Red Hat’s cloud-native solutions and security.
B2 Impact, one of Poland's leading debt collection firms, has successfully modernized its IT infrastructure by adopting Red Hat’s cloud-native solutions. By integrating Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization and Red Hat OpenShift, B2 Impact has not only accelerated its internal processes but also improved the security and flexibility of its operations, positioning itself for future growth in a competitive market.
B2 Impact manages the debts of nearly 2.5 million customers, handling over 4.1 million cases. Operating in the fast-paced and highly regulated financial sector, the company required a robust IT system that could address evolving business demands and meet stringent regulatory requirements such as the EU’s NIS2 and DORA directives. The company sought a more agile, secure, and scalable infrastructure to support its digital transformation and increase operational efficiency.
With Red Hat’s solutions, B2 Impact significantly improved the speed of its ETL (extract, transform, load) processes, making them four times faster. The company also reduced the time needed to prepare new operational environments to just one hour, greatly enhancing its ability to respond to changing business needs. Furthermore, the new system allowed for seamless service transitions between data centers, ensuring minimal downtime.
Additionally, by adopting Red Hat OpenShift, B2 Impact was able to modernize its technology stack and transition its infrastructure to a microservices architecture. This shift has led to faster software development and testing cycles, allowing the company to deliver new products and updates on a bi-weekly basis.
The partnership with Red Hat also resulted in significant cost savings. B2 Impact reduced its physical and virtual server footprint, which not only cut down operational costs but also lowered its carbon footprint. With enhanced security features and a new disaster recovery policy, B2 Impact is well-positioned to handle future challenges and grow its business.
