Brother and Kinaxis to Transform Supply Chain Management

Innovative Technology to Boost Efficiency and Adaptability for Leading Electronics Firm

Brother, the renowned Japanese electronics and electrical equipment giant, has teamed up with Kinaxis to transform its global supply chain operations. This strategic partnership aims to enhance visibility, foster collaboration, and refine demand forecasting, all while enabling more accurate and flexible scenario planning.

Operating in over 40 countries and generating over ¥80 billion in annual sales, Brother's extensive product portfolio includes printers, labeling systems, industrial and home sewing machines, garment printers, and digital printing equipment. The company sought a supply chain management solution that could handle its diverse product range and complex industry-specific challenges while delivering comprehensive end-to-end visibility.

Kosaku Sakai, Production Strategy Planning Department Manager at Brother Industries, highlighted the company's confidence in Kinaxis: “From the start, Kinaxis showed a deep understanding of our business complexities. Their innovative approach to supply chain orchestration made the decision to move forward with this transformation straightforward.”

With Kinaxis's support, Brother anticipates a supply chain that is not only more efficient but also more adaptable to change, aligning with their commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers. Toshiya Kaneko, President at Kinaxis Japan, echoed this enthusiasm: “In a dynamic industry like ours, the right software is crucial to managing the numerous moving parts of the supply chain. We are excited to partner with Brother and enhance their ability to expand and better serve their customers.”

The collaboration reflects a broader trend in supply chain innovation, underscored by the RTIH Innovation Awards, which spotlight advancements in this critical field. The awards, sponsored by CADS, 3D Cloud, Retail Technology Show 2025, and Business France, recognize global tech innovation in the fast-evolving omnichannel landscape. The entry process for the 2024 awards is now open.
