NetSuite ERP enables Astrak to integrate acquisitions seamlessly while scaling operations across Europe, Australasia, and North America.
Astrak, which specializes in heavy earthmoving equipment parts and was founded in Denmark, has used NetSuite ERP's cloud software to drive significant international expansion and streamline operations across its numerous global subsidiaries. The company changed its name to Astrak Group in 2010 after relocating to the UK from Denmark in 2007 and transitioned from another ERP system to NetSuite about 10 years ago. That move has been pivotal for the company as it continues to grow globally.
Cope stated that the company's move to NetSuite was based on three important strategic elements that remain relevant today—cloud accessibility, unified data within the organization, and the ability to customize the NetSuite platform to adapt to a specific business process—making it the best ERP solution for Astrak at the time of implementation. "NetSuite was the Top Product to do that at the time," Cope said at SuiteConnect London in October of last year.
The focus of Astrak's business is to provide parts of construction and agricultural machinery with a strong focus on 'distress purchases'. In addition, has experienced significant growth in revenue since being acquired by Inflexion Investment Company in 2022. The company projects it will reach over 200 employees and achieve approximate revenues of £100 million by the year 2025.
The Microsoft NetSuite multi-subsidiary, multi-currency OneWorld functionality has played a critical role in supporting Astrak's expansion beyond its base in Europe through its platform supporting Astrak's operations across Europe, Australasia and North America, providing seamless integration of subsidiary entities. The acquisition of West-Trak (New Zealand) and TKV (Australia) in 2024-2025, as leading suppliers of undercarriage solutions, will be readily integrated into Astrak's operations through the robust subsidiary management capabilities of the Microsoft NetSuite ERP solution.
