Infinix GT 50 Pro offers triggers, 144Hz display, Dimensity chipset, and cooling, targeting gamers seeking a performance-focused smartphone at a competitive price range.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro phone is expected to launch on April 24th, which can be regarded as the evolution of the idea behind the Infinix GT 30 Pro phone, launched in India at the price of Rs 24,999. The GT 50 Pro continues on the same lines as the previous model and retains the same pricing range targeted at gamers. Regarding its design aspect, the GT 50 Pro has retained the tough, industrial appearance along with gaming elements on the back side.
This phone comes with at least two color choices, a silver and a red option. However, what stands out about the GT 50 Pro is the inclusion of the 'shoulder trigger’ function, known by the name ‘Pressure-Sense GT Trigger.' These have been mounted on the sides of the phone and give gamers an edge through enhanced controls, making it one of the few phones with shoulder triggers for gaming and a strong option among gaming phones with physical triggers in India.
The phone is expected to have a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, offering refresh rates of 144 Hz. According to the makers, Infinix, the phone can play at 144 fps on specific games, making it fall among the category of phones with 144Hz AMOLED gaming screens. However, the performance will depend on optimization. The device will also have a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of internal storage. Additionally, the phone will be equipped with a liquid cooling mechanism in order to protect the user from any overheating challenges.
When it comes to the camera setup, the rear primary will feature a 50 MP sensor while the ultrawide camera will feature an 8 MP sensor, and the front camera is 13MP. Business Honor believes the Infinix GT 50 Pro could succeed if priced competitively, appealing to gamers despite strong competition.
